What is AnyCast?
Anycast DNS is a network technology in which multiple, globally distributed DNS servers share the same IP address. Requests are automatically routed to the server geographically closest to the user, drastically reducing response time (latency), increasing availability, and providing protection against DDoS attacks by distributing traffic across many servers.
